I have tried this to. But doesn’t that also happen in a cotton hammock sock?

I have found that any nylon bugnet gathers frost, inside of, or even without an overcover of any kind in cold weather.

I did not use the bugnet at all the first night, and had no frost inside the sock.
There was very light frost on the downwind side, outside of the cotton sock.
