    Hanging high? (Footlines)

    Hey all,

Sometimes I like to string my hammock quite high off the ground, or sometimes adjust it to bring it up snug against my tarp, or sometimes I'll pitch on a hillside.

Whatever happens it always ensures I have a PITA job trying to get in as I'm a bit of a short arse and have yet to develop 'The Technique'.

Wondering if a footline of non-stretch cord would work as a step up into the hammock?

Hmm... i guess that we never get to old for a good dare(the emergency room bears evidence of this)

But i would like to see the equivalent exit maneuver for that trick - is that what you call a face-plant?

(is this the start of Olympic participation??? Freestyle hammocking?)
