The lack of stretch does make the hammock less comfortable
esp. getting out. (the edge doesn't stretch and digs into the back
of me knees, but it's just for a couple of seconds as I get out)
That said, I've slept well in it and had no condensation problems.
Yes I get slightly damp if it's not below 40 degrees but it never
    bothered me. YMMV

I wasn't able to find out the weight but I might be able to get a 30' X 50' piece of this stuff. That's great news but it won't be until May. Oh well, can't be picky when it's free!

I'm waiting on a tarp and pack from Zpacks made from cuben. I'll definitely be testing and posting feed back after a couple of outtings. Right now I'm very optimistic! The weight savings alone is going to be awesome!

Knotty's post about adding a bungee to the edge of a hammock would fix that if the hammock had a loose enough edge. My adjustable hammocks with ends cut off and strings replacing the gathered part of the fabric work because the string that attaches to the edge has been replaced with a bungee. You could apply this idea to a gathered end even if the edges were not floppy, as might be the case with a cuben (CTF3) hammock, by cutting a 6" wide strip off one corner and supporting it with a single bungee.

In this figure I have only shown a bungee on one end, so you would only be able to sit comfortably facing one side, but you could use a bungee on the other side at the other end of the hammock, too.

Note: this is speculative. I haven't made a hammock like this, but I think it would work.

My Zpack tarp with permanently attached doors came. Nearly same dimensions as a Big Mambajamba with doors, however it weighs 6.5 oz.
If you have a sailing friend have him get you a roll of "sail tape". That stuff is super handy for making fabric repairs. Even works if the fabric is wet and talk about strong. The down side is that I don't consider it removable on lightweight fabric (is that really a downside?)
