    OES doors

The new OES doored tarps look quite nice, and I already have a deluxe sans doors, which quality is super. It looks like the cut of the doors on the new 4 season tarps is cat' and it would take a pretty steep pitch to get them to over lap or close. I would (at first) think that would be a good thing for killing the wind and spray. What are peoples' experiences on this?

I've had Brian's winter tarp for almost two seasons now and it's really an impressive piece of gear. I'm really happy with it. Now having said that, I do wish they had a flat edge where the doors meet. I wouldnt worry too much about driving rain coming in, but the severe cut does let a little wind in.

Now I'm almost certain you can ask Brian to use a straight cut for your doors and he'll accommodate you. The guy is awesome (as you probably already know).

Yep, I can do straight cut doors. I can also extend the door length a bit to give a better closure from the photo's seen on my site. Both custom options that I do for no cost since every tarp is made upon order!

Thanks. You'll get my order--the deluxe size with extended and straight doors-- when the Spinn version is avail.

I have a custom OES winter tarp and like the catcut on the doors. For me, A little wind
keeps the condensation down. That said,
I had Brian add a D ring tieout on one end(head end) so it can be fastened closed. The other end is standard catcut and just love being able to enter and exit without messing with the tie stake.

Yep. Working with the vendors here on this forum is like it used to be when you could walk down to the local hardware store and get really taken care of. Thanks guys!
