They've SHIPPED!!

My youngest son and I placed our order on Monday with HH. His Expedition with stock tarp and my Explorer with hex tarp are enroute, sitting in the Denver, CO UPS site.

Should be in on Monday...if the weather clears we'll take a shot at setting up and taking down a couple of times in a wooded area near the house.

I'm looking at taking a shot at a DIY UQ from an old cheap sleeping bag for now...if nothing else I've got my ICW sleeping bag and mil CCF pad to try for a first run.

Neither of us have tried hammocks in the past...should be good fun and a great relief for my back on our camping runs!

Congrats! I just received my first hammock in the mail as well, so I can affirm TheTorch's comment. It's like being a kid on Christmas morning all over again!

I can third that feeling. I got my first hammock ever in the mail yesterday and spent 2 hours downstairs hanging and relaxing, re-hanging and relaxing, tearing down and putting up. Haha. I can't wait to get home from work today to keep messing with it.

I bet you'll be itching to come home from work on Monday haha.

I've decided that being able to track UPS packages is a BAD THING.

Got the tracking # from HH when the package hit the US...watched as it got nearer and nearer...and can see that its just sitting there in the local hub where two of my sons used to work.

And it's going to sit there til Monday morning.

I'm considering a commando raid to extract the hostages.

This ain't right.
