I am looking on the OnRope1 website and they have the coveted cinch buckles. The problem is this..I only need 2. That brings my total to only $4. They have a $10 minimum order.
Anyone want to go in and purchase some?

The deal breaker is the $11.91 shipping charge. I think I'll use the 4 "O" rings I already have to finish this off. I even have a set of slightly heavier cam buckles, too.
home depot. rings under $2.00 each. One years use with no problems
I don't know how much weight they are rated for. Seems like it was printed on the package. They are welded.

Call them and ask them if they will sell you a couple only. It has worked for some others here.

Have you tried calling them? A lot of companies will work with you to promote good word of mouth advertising.
Seems great minds think alike, lol!
I ended up getting 4 buckles plus some shock cord to get the $10 minimum. I wanted two sets anyway. The order page showed the $11+ UPS shipping but when I got them they had put them in a padded envelope and only charged me $6.60 instead, which was nice.
Y'all should try Hog On Ice's single ring buckle idea. He was nice enough to take the time to show me how he did this at SoRuck and I was thoroughly impressed. On each end of your hammock, place a single ring buckle. Then to attach the webbing, feed it through the ring buckle to form a girth hitch and tighten. I haven't tried this yet, but it looks pretty good, very secure, and very light. I'm not sure that I explained it 100% correct, so if you have ny questions, maybe HOI will chime in on this one. Thanks again, HOI!

OK, all you cinch buckle experts, I got my 1" buckles today from OnRope1. I immediately thought they fed through one way, but wait, they lock either way. Which is correct? Feed the webbing so that it enters and exits on the 101 end? (this way seemed more logical to me)... Or is it so that it enters and exits on the DJ end? Come On Angry Sparrow, help me out here before I sew the other webbing on the wrong side on the buckle.
