Wish there was a straight answer to that. It's kinda like asking, "If you just need a car for work, what's the best one to buy?" 'Cept making your own car is a bit more tough than a hammock.

Welcome to HF, I prefer a top loading hammock such as a Treklight or Eno. you are going to get alot of different opinions from this question.
