There is an excellent RV Resort near the Breckenridge trailhead.

If you get there that will make three from Nebraska at the hang. That would be great.

I presume you're driving based on your previous comments? Mind if I hitch a ride?!

I will be driving to the hang. Dennis will also be going from here. My wife said that she wanted to go but not hike. I don't know about Dennis's wife either. So I don't know of the time or what we will be doing yet. May take the 5th wheel for the wives to stay in.
If the wives don't go I would say that would be great. So we will just need to keep it open at this time. Sorry not much help yet.

Wow! Lots of peeps willing to drive long distances to make this trip.
That's great, I look forward to hiking and hanging with you.

I plan to arrive at the Jefferson Lake campground July 7th to snag us a spot, and do a few days of car camping,
acclimation, and just general getting out of the house with some outdoor grilling and dutchoven baking.

One needs to stock up on those carbs and protein before a good hike.

Feel free to arrive early and join me if you can. Early arrivers always gets the best trees, haha

Once we know how many we have for the hike we can work out the shuttle arrangements.

mark me as a possible as well. id love to be able to go and pending any work conflicts i might. if i cant do the hike i might drive down for a few nights of car camping and fishing. has anyone decided on a campground? and i guess another question of mine is if im up for it, could the pooch make the trip with us? i know there are some trails and campgrounds around that arent dog friendly but she likes being outside just as much as me.
Tucker: So I suppose if you are helping us you arent as mean as I thought...
Tex: I wouldnt say Im mean, I just get hired to do mean things.
    Tucker: But you like it.
Tex: Well I think its important to enjoy what you do.

    Welcome Freelance Tex.

I have only been to Jefferson Lake once and it was a day fishing trip 15 years ago.
I believe the campground food wants us to meet at is this one.

Hopefully he will jump in and confirm this.
