    Interesting Link here...

    http://www.polyformes.co.uk/azote.html

    It states this:

Evazote foams are tougher and more resilient than PLASTAZOTE foams and are mainly used in a wide range of sports & leisure and footwear applications. Evazote foam is moulded into knee pads that are durable, and resilient under repeated impact.

I know I love my ThinLight...except hold on to it, if you find yourself in a windy situation...it flys like a kite

I thought I could use them in the same fashion as mentioned above. Would really go down to extreme low temps. Those things were beasts. Very bulky and hard to manage.
are you talking about the thinlights? based on those dimensions i am not sure...

Thinlights are a lot cheaper and lighter. I have a thin light. I think it is pretty nice since it flexes very easily. I have the 1/8" and would need to double it up if it get below 50F. But I think that makes it a bit more flexible in use.

I have the standard. I fold it and place it in the back panel of my ULA Conduit. It folds very easily, so packability is good.

It's a lot better any other pad I have used, especially the blue WalMart CCF pads.
