Right now my main contender is the ET, with reservations about increased wear on the webbing, or the onrope buckle. I'm going to wait to pull the trigger on anything till I talk to my also-noobish friend. He needs all the same stuff I do, so if I can order 2 sets of the ETs, it'll be much cheaper.
My buddy and I decided to go with the Elephant Trunks. We are both newbies with pretty much the same setup, so we are both getting sucked in to the hammock world at the same time.
