If you were to buy just 1 hammock from them, which would it be? I see they are having a winter sale were you get an insulation system for 99$.

It depends on what you're looking for really, that's why there's different models.

You need to consider your height and weight, how roomy you want the hammock to be, and what your pack weight/volume requirements are.

I got the ultralight backpacker, but that's because I wanted something light and small, and I don't need a lot of room for sleeping.

I have had nothing but awesome service from Hennessy. When I ordered my explorer Deluxe, I called them and asked if I could pick it from the distribution center. They said no problem, they would call the center and have them set it aside. An hour later, Hennessy called back and said that the people at the center were expecting me.

I got on my motorcycle and ripped out to the center, and got my hammock from some very pleasant, happy folks at the distribution center, and then went back to the office.

Any email I have sent has been answered promptly, and courteously. They are stand up folks.

when I was a Hennessey owner I too received great customer service from the company.

The best company ever in my opinion, I have had a problem or two in the past but nothing that they didn't fix right away. If you stop and think of the number of hammocks Tom produces for not only civilian use but also military use then it seems even more amazing how good the customer service is. For the people that bash them for having the product made in China, Just think if Brandon had as many orders as Tom, it would be a long wait on your hammock. Not bashing Brandon or Warbonnet at all, he just doesn't do the volume that Hennessy does. Sorry had to get that off of my chest, read to many other post bashing Hennessy.

Also two paws up, I just purchased a super shelter for my expedition hammock, it extended my temp range by at lest 20 degrees. Wonderful product for motorcycles, it makes the entire wilderness a camp!

This is one of the 10 best items I have purchased when you factor in the dollar/enjoyment factor!

best customer service i have received from any company anywhere. all credit is due to them and i regularly email them and tell them as well. just epic.

Another satisfied customer here.

Called them last year, a few days after my first hang in my new HH. Expected to leave a message since it was late on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised when Tom answered the phone himself. Took the time to kindly answer my noobie questions and make other suggestions to improve my comfort and satisfaction with his product.

Great service.

Just sent them an email today with a couple of questions about services they may offer. Ann emailed me back in 4 minutes. I kid you not. 4 minutes...and maybe a few seconds.
