I think I know why more people don't talk about their TLG hammocks:
1. They're comfortably asleep in them.

3. Think of the open top single and double in a generic sense and lump Trek Light, ENO, Grand Trunk, and to a lesser degreee Speer hammocks in the same catagory.

I for one would love to know the difference between the hammocks in "reason 3", (size, weight, comfort, etc.), but don't have the time right now to do the research.

When I went looking last summer for which hammocks to buy for the 4 of us; I was searching for value first, strength next and then price.

I did a lot of research before making the TLG choice. I really wanted a JRB bridge but not the pricetag nor that it appeared to be of single purpose. HH looked good yet wouldn't withstand my size nor 2 kids rolling around in them. One after another, the competition fell to the side.

Seth is an excellent business owner and I suspect his business reflects this. It is hard not to love the philosophy of living the outdoor code through 'trekking lightly.'

I enjoy watching my kids putting up the hammocks, rolling around in them, chillaxing in the back yard, whatever. Its like living the pictures on the TLG website.

This camping season, I'll commit to taking lots of TLG hammock in action pictures and when I post them here, putting 'Trek Light' in the title.
