I guess the title says it all. I prefer the Soloist, but I'm open to either.
Thanks for looking.

If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!
My wife bought us a GSI Dualist last year. The set works great and packs down to practically nothing. Good luck finding a set for yourself, they are worth it!

FWIW, I have the GSI Pinnacle soloist. I love it.
I would recommend the solo setup over the dualists. The reason is not weight but design. The dualists have lots of plastic cups. I think a better design would be to replace a plastic cup/pot with one that you could cook with.
I like the Teflon coating of the Pinnacle line.
Also, expect the little orange rubber cover on the handles melt if you use it with a tight fitting wind screen. The lid will also melt a little, but it is still perfectly useable. This happened with an alcohol stove.

I paired mine with a Trail Design Caldera Cone. http://www.traildesigns.com/
It's the most efficient system I've found so far for long burn times while conserving fuel . Kinda bulky though.

I prefer the GSI Outdoors Halulite Ketalist Cookset myself.
Thanks! I didn't see until after I ordered, but it appears he had it listed as 1 available as of Feb 17. I hope he still has it otherwise I'm going to need a refund and still be on the hunt.
I have the kettle and it is great. That's one of the reasons I was really looking for the Soloist as it has the 14 oz. bowl that the Ketalist has. So, it's like 2 sets for the price of one (I got the kettle as a gift).
If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!
FYI, the 14oz GSI bowl set does not fit it the GSI kettle that is sold solo. I guess the Kettleist kit kettle is different then the older solo kettle. I bought the kettle on clearance at REI around Christmas, then wanted the bowl that went with Kettleist kit, so I called GSI and asked about it. They said "yeah, the kettles are the same" and the sold me one of the 14 oz bowls. When I got it, it does not fit in the kettle. I kept the bowl cause I like the size, but just a FYI it you were gonna get a soloist and try to use the bowl with an exiting kettle.
