Is this fabric OK for bugnet

I am trying to make two complete hammock kits cheap (plus who am I kidding, I am just cheap in general).

What is the cheapest fabric that is good for bug netting.
I am in the swampy Lowcountry of South Carolina so bugs are an issue - including no seeums.

That would be an ideal fabric to allow even deer ticks to get into the hammock. That is essentially the athletic net they use for drain pockets on gym bags. The mosquitoes and all the other flying/crawling critters would thank you from the bottom of their little hearts for the place to roost

I looked at the mosquito netting (second link) at Hancock in person a few days ago. It would keep the mosquitos out but it is definitely not "no-see-um" netting. It will let the really small stuff through.

If you want to go the cheap route you can use tulle...they sell it at Joann and hancock fabric stores...not sure of durability compared to no see um but it would be cheaper. No see um would be the better choice if you can afford..

I tried Tulle in my first DIY hammock and it lasted one trip.
If you use Tulle, be careful how you handle it. that stuff is weak.
