    Couple hammock

Hey, im looking for plans for a double bridge hammock that allows me and my girl to lay next to each other. I have a double tied-end hammock and laying at an angle doesn't really allow us to see each other eye to eye, literally. I've seen the double bridge hammock by dblhmmck but I don't like the separation in the middle. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=8900

Thanks for your time and help.

This patent might be interesting. There's a picture on page 6 showing a couple not separated from each other. I've never tried to clone something using an actual patent -- would be very interesting to see someone managing to clone this hammock.

That patent has pictures that look similar to the Clark Vertex.

I think it's Clark - the patent holder name is Gary l. Clark

Yep. They list the patent number on the Clark website and it matches the patent number on the drawing that was posted.
I'd love to see one of these in person to see how it is put together.

I think the seperation between the 2 sides in a vertex is what Crow is trying avoid. The vertex has that gear shelf area between the two sleepers.

If thats the case - then i would go with a big Mexican weaved hammock. In these hammocks you can do pretty much anything you can do in a bed..... 'nuff said

(So much for reading - and understanding) the OP's post)
