I've put whoopies on a Hennessy, but what about a Blackbird? Same basic premise? Anyone have a few pics or a tutorial?

Just put them on the same way the WB buckle loops are.
It's only an addiction if you're trying to quit
Here's a quick vid. The first loop he pulls is the Structural Ridgeline. Just be careful not to let it slip into the hammock. Just girth hitch a loop of amsteel or the fixed eye of the whoopie and then feed it through the structural ridgeline. Pull the slack of the structural from inside the hammock.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
The whoopies go on just like the original suspension is attached. Remove the original and reinstall the whoopie sling in the same manner paying attention to make sure to pass the whoopie through the small black loop and the ridge line. Do one end at a time so you have the other for reference if need be.
Anybody order their BB with loops for attaching whoopie slings? Have Brandon keep the straps.
if your Blackbird came with the adj. webbing suspension you could leave it on and attach the whoopied slings to the triangle pcs. Then using the webbing to wrap around the tree and use it the same as the webbing that comes with whoopie slings. One advantage to me is that if for some reason the whoopie sling broke or came undone you could still use the suspension the way it was bought originally.

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
Grizz shows the correct method here: just make sure you pass the whoopie through the small black loop in the end of the edge binding (there's one at each end of the hammock). Other than that it's the same as for any other similarly whipped hammock

thinking about switching my BB out as well, these videos are a big help as I'm not so mechanically inclined and fear the disaster that may occur if I do something wrong!!
