    Ridgeline placement

I currently have my ridgeline on my ENO Dbl attached to the biners. I would like to attach it to the channel. Any perceived issues as far as stress on the material?

Is your ENO using the stock cord?

It is. I'm not much of a backpacker and with recent back troubles will prolly only hang indoors or while car camping.

Where are you thinking of putting the ridgeline? Are you thinking of putting it around the stock cords?

I attach my ridgeline to my Trek Light double (very similar to ENO) with biners to the suspension rings. I have since switched to cinch buckles & chain link, so I'll probably clip into the chain link. Not sure that this makes it "structural" but it works. I've attached a picture of the set up.

Probably no gain for you in changing where your RL attaches and in particular going though the trouble of feeding it through the channels. If you were going to swap out the stock cord and biners and use it backpacking then reworking the RL would be appropriate. Since you are hanging indoors you probably don't need to. Why were you thinking about changing?

Careful, Rick! I recently moved my ridge line attachments in the opposite direction: farther up the suspension. I find that the farther up the suspension, the higher the ridge line is above your hammock. Too low, and it's in your face when you're sitting sideways in your hammock, or even getting in and out of it. You don't want that! Let us know what works best for you when you figure it out!
