Greetings from Delaware

Greetings All,

I’m reddz. I first learned of this forum from folks over at Bush Craft USA. I’m very interested in trying a hammock and maybe even making one or two myself. I built a Teardrop camper a couple of years ago and it does not have a/c. Some summer evenings are quit hot so I want to combine hammock camping (sleeping) with my Teardrop adventures. IF it proves successful, then my wife will probably want a hammock too.

We live in Delaware and have traveled from Virginia to Maine and as far West as Ohio so far. We started out in a tent so sleeping under canvas is no problem. In fact I like it very much. So I look forward to reading more here and learning from the group’s wisdom. Thanks in advance for all the help and insights.

Welcome reddz. There's a ton of info here about making your own gear. But beware... there is a disease, a sickness that infects you. Once you start DIY, you can't stop. Enjoy!
