Hey ! I'm going to consider adopting out my precious Mitylite sleeping bag. Western mountaineering says it is a 40 degree bag. I've been down to 28 degrees with a poly pro top and a long sleeve light fleece, ploy pro bottoms, thick warm socks and a hat. I'd say, as with most WM stuff, the 40 degree rating is conservative. It stuffs into a 6x12 sack without too much trouble. I usually never stuffed it. I put it in a pack liner in the bottom of my pack. The stuff sack has been lost. I am including the storage sack. I store it in my gear room not in the storage sack. It will unzip for a nice size quilt for one. It does not have a hood. I'm 5'11 and I can pull it completely over my head. I weigh 220lbs and I have plenty of room when it is zipped up. It weighs 1 lb 11.5 oz on my scale. It has been very well care for. I got it from a Doctor friend of mine and he used it once. Its been used maybe 6 nights by me, 2 tent trips and the rest in a hammock in foot box mode/quilt fashion. It is clean and no spots, snags or blemishes. Black inside and some kind of sea foam blue/ green outside. I will offer it for the adoption fee of $200.00 shipped to CON US. If I cannot get that then it stays in the family. PM me if interested. I,m only considering finding a good home for it so I can get a lighter under quilt for hammocking. PayPal only. All forum selling rules apply.
