Not. The new buckles are specifically designed to work with the webbing that Warbonnet and I use and have not been tested with other webbing's but tying the back up knot with these buckles can pull the webbing out of alignment and cause the webbing to be damaged.

I use both AHE and Warbonnet buckles on my hammocks. I also use 1" seatbelt webbing, no 1/2 hitch backup, with them and have no issue with slipping and I am close to 300lbs. Use the webbing you will have no issues with slippage.

Agreed, no need for knots. Those things are like vice-clamps once they bite down.

My experience has been different. I didn't tie a knot the first dozen or so times I used it, but on the tenth or eleventh time, the straps slipped thru and I went on my butt.

Using the new buckles? That is surprising.

The seatbelt webbing is pretty slippery. Not much tenacity there. I bet it wouldn't fail using the BB stuff, you think?
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

Make sure you make a video if you do. It will be one of those testimonials, to the product that is. Maybe put a little cush under the tush, just in case... I know all will want to see it.

Be reassured Big Joe. The bucked have been tested to the webbing break strength. The webbing will explode before the buckles will let go of you. I have customers over 400 pounds hanging on them.
