This lady can really make quality stuff. I got my under quilt and my tarp yesterday and they seem to be fabulous. I cannot wait to get them out on the trail!!

Forgive me for not reading all of the posts before me. But here's my quick question:

I would like to have an underquilt made, similar to this.

How much could your wife sew this for? Do I need to buy the materials or would she do that as well?

Again, forgive me if this info has been posted before me.

    9'X9' Tabernacle Tarp question

On your 9'X9' Tabernacle Tarp do you cut the fabric so that the weave is in line with the diagonal ridge line or just sew a 9x9 square? The first way uses more fabric but makes a stronger tarp in my opinion as the ripstop gives very little in line with the weave, but quite a bit at 45 degree angle. Also how much does it weigh and is it cat cut or square.

I ask here, instesd of PM in case others want to know.

    Thanks...

The version 1 was just 2 pieces sewn together to make a 9X9, the version 2 is where the seams are on the sides of the lower tie outs. It is hard to explain but it is just square, no cat cuts.

Sorry for not getting to you sooner, the Preacha Hang Gang is all SICK . It is not fun. Yes, we can make it for you, but we recommend Climashield instead of primaloft. Private Message me for details.

I think I understand...There is no seam on the diagonal ridgeline, but a seam on each side parallel to the ridgeline. Sort of a sanctuary, without cat cuts, with triangles sewn on the sides. Is that correct? Also, how many tieouts do you put on each side? 1 in the center of each side would be nice. I'm also guessing the weight a couple ounces more than the sanctuary?

And almost forgot. Do you do them in black as well?

Sorry to hear your group is ill. At least you are getting it all over at one time.

yep you pretty much got it right, it is a big diamond, but if you turn it, it ends up being a square. There are tieouts on all four corners, plus one in the middle of each side as well. Yep in black too. I am pretty much over it, that is why I'm not preaching today. But now the rest of the clan is blahhh.
