After almost 2 weeks of spring like weather its nice to get another dose of winter.

In our area the dag-nab warm weather has come. We knew Spring had to come at some point... and we tried like heck to put it off... but no go. Glad to know that Snow Miser still lives in your neighborhood.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I prefer colder weather and dread the onslaught of summer heat. I really need to move somewhere further north and a higher elevation. Montana or Idaho sure have been looking good.

Don't call me the Ice Man for nothing. I look forward to ice fishing tomorrow, Sat mar 12, on Spirit lake in NW Iowa. there was still 30 inches of ice there last Sat. I may take one of my ice boats instead for some high speed sailing on ice if there's any wind. Yeah, baby! My time of year. Just can't get next to camping out in it though. Getting a bit old for that silliness.

Just buckets of rain this morning. Temps are steadily rising here on Long Island the past couple of weeks. Darn Ground Rat not seeing his shadow!

No snow on the ground at 11pm last night. Woke up this am and it's a winter wonderland! 6 inches on the ground and 3 more since I got up. Still coming down pretty good. It was a nice surprise. North western Pa. and Lake Erie oh yea! Very pretty out with snow stuck to everything.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
