Are there any other trail suggestions for the trip? It seems like SHT would be tough to do and after reading up and watching videos of NCT, it would be the best place to host it. Where are some good places to hike on the trail. Keep in mind that it's looking like a big group.

Hey guys I don't have internet access right now and can't find my trail maps. So as soon as I can hit up the library I will start checking out areas. Once we have a few possible locations I will go out and look them over as best I can withoit actually hiking them

If there are any suggestions let me know, plus I'm willing to be the organizer for this again this year. Just be patient with me as I'm doing this through my phone right now.

I believe NCT is a prudent choice. Snipen, you are the man!!!!!!!!!! I so appreciate the time you give. Last's years trip was great. Water levels couldn't be forseen. This year, being earlier, I can't forsee a prob. Looking forward to seeing old and new alike.

Thanks Snipen. Just from the voting, it seems like we may have a group of at least 12 and that's not including if anyone brings a friend as well.

Does anyone have any trails in particular that they really like?

this sounds like fun. I'm prettymuch up for whenever, except June 24-26 since I'm leaving for another backpacking trip at that point.

My 2 cents is it would be great for the Northern Hang not to be too Northern, so it would be possible for those not way North to attend. (It's about a 10 hour drive just to get to the UP from 80.) I'd enjoy, as I'm sure others would, meeting those of your up in the Piney Woods. The cost of gas isn't the issue as is the time it takes to drive there.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

My friend from Quebec may be in town visiting me around this time. So, I may have a +1 too. I'll make sure he brings enough Coffee Crisps for everyone!

I'm game for wherever. I hear driving up to the Duluth area is absolutely terrible around Labor Day, so I'm hoping that doesn't end up being the date, or we have a completely different location that is accessible to more people.
