    Spring 2011 Texas hang interest?

Anyone interested in a Texas hang before the weather gets too hot?

I know I'm just the new guy, but I'd be interested in hangin' with some other guys from the area. I've mainly done motorcycle camping in the past but I'm up for something more depending on the group suggestions. Where do y'all normally go around here any ways?

We've done Stubblefield at lake Conroe, Fairfield lake, Stephen Austin, etc.

Are you thinking a hang only, or if the numbers allow it, some backpacking? Depending on when, I could be in. I REALLY want to try the Lone Star Trail someday.

I'm in as long as it's close. Stubbelfield is good or we could do one of the loops in Section 1 of the LSHT. If members want to hike, we could stay at Stubblefield and hike a part of the LSHT.

I'm open for just about anywhere within a 3 hour radius from me.

    Lake Stubblefield is perfect .....

The Lone Star Hiking trail runs right through it .....

We could car camp there and day hike or you can park at the lake Conroe trailhead and hike the 3.5 miles to Stubblefield, camp, then hike back.
