Northwest Arkansas Area Devil's Den Hang (Hangin with the Devil)

Ok, I would like to host a hang for all of us who live a long way from the rest of yall. Devil's Den is in Northwest Arkansas, about 45 minutes North of Ft. Smith, AR, an hour South of Joplin, MO. As I said in another post there is a really nice 15 mile loop trail there called the Butterfield, and there is a nice walk in camp about 1/2 mile in, so if you wanted to we could get away from the car campers. I would be fine hiking the whole trail, but whatever yall would like. Let me know what yall think. Thepreacherswife will be in a, dare I say it, TENT

!! But that is because Son of a Preacha Man #3 is 7 months old. I'm looking mainly into the end of March, early April.

I'll need to finish the hammock and tarp. That will give me a target date to be ready. It's about a seven hour drive, but would be fun. I'll see what happens.

Just remember that I have to preach on Sunday. If yall want the 5th Weekend of March we will be having a good lunch on the 5th Sunday of March, after Preachin, all are welcome, and it is sooooooo gooooood!!!!! I will show up whatever weekend on Thursday night, and will stay till Saturday night/early Sunday morning.

Sorry, I forgot that I have to go to Oklahoma for a that 5th weekend in March. I could show up LATE that Friday the 28th, and continue from there. But I would not be there when yall start arriving (for that weekend only). Let me know if you can come, or if you need directions. I'm also pretty sure that thepreacherswife and I can put on a feed one of the nights

, I never notice it until afterwards. It is because she logs into my computer, instead of using her's. Anyway, yall know what I mean.

4thwe of March is Holy Week / Easter for some of us

5th weekend is best for me. I would like to try for the walk-in site.

For those interested 2nd weekend of April is Paddling.net rondezvous on Current River. Come Hang and Paddle!

Current River??? Now I'm getting excited. Current, Jack's Fork, Eleven Point, and North Fork Rivers are the large part of my stomping and splashing grounds.

I want to know more about the rendevous. I'll bring my hammock if I show.

I haven't been to one of their rondezvous before but plan to go this year now that I have a canoe. I'll be hanging hopefully in a new hammock from preacher's wife
