Thanks for the great ideas so far. I taking notes on all of them so I can try them out when I get the chance. I think I can pull if off with larger diameter trees, maybe 12" and up.
there are some boy scouts in one of the other local troops here, that hang 3, bunk bed style they lash up a ladder and hang a large tarp across the ridgeline on the top i should have pics soon...
sorry i took so long hope fully i can do this ...
thanks for sharing ... how do you deal when the top bunk has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? how do you get down without taking out the bottom hanger?
Definitely not wanting the bed wetter in the top bunk. . .
Ewww.
they lash a ladder together and place it against one of the trees remember they are scouts and about 16 or17 (young and flexible...lol )
Im looking for a way to use two hammocks on two trees without bunk beds. Ive seen pics of people using the spreader bar(hiking poles) but cant see how the spreader bars are attached to the suspension. Also where do you attach them? At the point where the suspension meets the hammock? Pics would definately help.
1 tree for 2 hammocks..Hmmmmm I thought you needed 2 trees even for 1 hammock?..Am I missing something here??
My guess is your 1 tree out of luck..
