how would you suggest altering the spreader bar to 'hold onto' the hammocks

i'm haven't read up on bridge hammocks, maybe my answer is there?

Thanks for the great ideas so far. I taking notes on all of them so I can try them out when I get the chance. I think I can pull if off with larger diameter trees, maybe 12" and up.

thanks for sharing ... how do you deal when the top bunk has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? how do you get down without taking out the bottom hanger?

Im looking for a way to use two hammocks on two trees without bunk beds. Ive seen pics of people using the spreader bar(hiking poles) but cant see how the spreader bars are attached to the suspension. Also where do you attach them? At the point where the suspension meets the hammock? Pics would definately help.
