    Doublenest Deluxe center seam issue

    Hello all.
The wife and I bought a Dbl Deluxe this morning, got it back home and tried for over an hour to figure out how to hang in it. The problem we are having is with the seam that runs down the length of the hammock, almost but not quite in the middle. This seam is tighter than the rest of the material which causes it to try to lift up while we are in it. Even with one person in it the seam lifts up from the hammock. When laying in the hammock across the main hammock line this seam runs across your back and is uncomfortable. Added a ridge line and this only helped a little.

Has anyone else had this problem with a Deluxe or other ENO? Any ideas on what to check to see if we are doing something wrong? An hours worth of searching on this forum has found no problems like this.

    Thanks for the input,
    David

I had the same problem with a ENO clone I picked up locally. The seam was not in the middle but was close enough to the centre to cause the same problem as you. The seam was tigheter than the surrounding material making it dig in to my back when laying on the seam. I think you should return it and get a regular Double Nest if that's possible.

Thanks Bubba. I had a feeling that I would need to return it. I couldn't find any reason that the seam should be tighter than any other part.
