Yeah, I almost unzipped the legs off my pants, but thought better of it. I'm just happy I didn't get any chigger bites. I'm glad you're feeling better oldman, hope to see you on our next outing.

Definitely is good stuff. I bought a big bottle on amazon and spray everything especially my hammock before i head out.
So whens the next trip? I'm ready...

Just checked the Florida Trails Map, the North loop is 6.2 miles up the west side to the Blue Sink Camp and 7.5 miles back on the east side, for a total of 13.7 miles. Three water points are shown with one at the camping area. That's close to what we covered last weekend I believe.

Timber and I are committed most of April. I am the stage manager for Godspell and performances are 7, 8, 15 and 16. Easter the following week. I suspect Tim has class the week after, but I'd have to double check with him.

Since I doubt we will make it, I'll continue to live vicariously through y'all. Don't forget to take lots of pictures!

I am all for a north loop jaunt. There is water on the northeastern stretch as you pass the river again. There is a nice camping area just beyond the marked primitive camp ground. We should discuss this more.
