I have to confess, I too am a Shugaholic.

I came across the "shugemery" clips on youtube when I was looking for info on tarps and thinking about bivvy and tarp camping as a less stifling alternative for tenting in the summertime. That led me to Hammockforums.net, and now I'm "cradled in comfort" in my very own WBBB, and I've bought - amongst other things - a Mini Atomic, a Bushbuddy, a Blackrock gear down hat, a Stickpic, and so on... is there no cure for this addiction? Shug, these guys should be paying you a commission!

I just hope to get up the gumption to make some of my own trip report videos someday.

Shug can get ya, for real. I thought I was a happy man till I watched my first Shug video. Till then I had no idea just how bad my lot in life was. But, I am better now, have less available closet space and a bit poorer but happier. Thank you Shug

I mentioned this in passing in another post, but I think we should organize, "Shug Fest 2011". A hang devoted to livermush, entertainment, VIDEOS, music, falderall, and group cameraderie and Shugness. We could hold it simultaneously across the country and around the world on the same Shug Day. A day devoted to learning, teaching, cooking and fun (much like other hangs, but we can all become "Shug-for-a-day"!

One guy, whose passion and antics have expanded the hammocking community immensely, inspired others to take to the trees and woods again, and made us all laugh along the way.

Shug Fest 2011 - waddya think?

Thanks ya'll. To be truthful I only show my fair-side on camera.

I couldn't disagree more, but I do think that would be a great name for your new band... Nebulous!

I came to HF because I had heard of people camping up off the rocky earth in hammocks and became curious, but it was Shug who finally pushed me over the cliff toward this new addiction. (Thanks?)

(We sure could use some more Hickory Brothers action - bruthas from utha muthas maybe, but you two were definitely cut from the same cloth...)
