    Adjustable Ridgeline Help needed

I am at the final steps of my DIY HH clone, and have the 12" sections inside the body of the hammock already tied into my gather. From there, as a temporary solution, the ridgeline connected to a biner on one side, and a figure nine on the other side. The figure nine seems to be a little large for the intent. I am using 550 right now as my ridgeline, and want to have that 1 - 2 inches of play for adjustability.

Any suggestions on what works without too much bulk?

paracord won't hold a fixed length, it would proabbly stretch at least 10" with tension on it, use dyneema... never use nylon for this purpose.

an easy way for an adjustable ridge line is to fix one end, and tie the other end to the base of the suspension. to adjust simply untie adjust then re-tie
