Found a way to make a ridge line that is quick and easy to separate for those times you want to lounge without the ridge line cutting across your back or the back of your neck.
This method will allow you to quickly and simply open the ridge line and then snap the ridge line back in place.
I used one of these key ring disconnects.
I removed the rings and hooked the ridge line directly to the disconnect ends. I figured the rings just add length and are probably the weakest parts. Don't really know how much force the disconnect will take, but figure it would be a LOT more than the 1.75 mm Lash-It I use for the ridge line, since the forces are centered down the disconnect and the metal would have to fail for the contraption to fail.
