Oh noes, not a burn ban, guess I now have a reason to get one of those nice cooking tables for the dutch ovens like UncleMJM had. What a shame.

I'm supposed to be getting one of Devin's Backwoods Boilers tomorrow that I wanted to show off and play with -- just like UncleMJM's.

So......has UncleMJM become our new role model???

There is currently a fire ban in place. Here's a link...Billy Creek is in LeFlore County...2nd up from the bottom on the Arkansas line.

Right now it's a 7 day ban, maybe they won't extend it.

More like "roll" model - if it helps with cooking or involves burning things or eating, I love it.

I still haven't lit up ""George", (#41 of the Backwoods Boiler), yet but plan to soon and will bring it to OK.

I will make some calls today, and try to get some specifics on the burn ban. Sometimes there are exceptions for fire rings in campgrounds.

This reason I'm a "closer to a definitely" I have to come back Saturday afternoon. I'm trying to justify an 8 hour round trip for so little time actually up there.
