Thank you guys for your comments. You guys inspired me to go hanging and I will definitely do more hanging rather than pitching up a tent anytime soon. We do have lots of beautiful places here in Malaysia. Blessed with good, humid and warm weather all year long unlike some countries who have to experience the winter season. However, the monsoon rain can become a bit of a problem while camping here.

I didn't tell you about the freaking rain that started from 6pm until around 11pm that night. That made the camping ground all muddy and watery, hence added to the 'uncomfortable' situation while cooking and having our dinner. Nevertheless, these small challenges that made it memorable, isn't it?

Had the chance to really tested my Superfly Tarp. I noticed small leakage at the seam of the patch on the wall side. Water drippings.. but not too bad. I setup the tarp quite widely (to cover more ground, since it was raining, rather than the A-shape like), and noticed that whenever the raindrops hit the tarp directly, I got sprinkles on my face.

Do u have any ideas on how to get rid of the smokey smell on my hammock?

PS: I do enjoy looking through the camping report pictures whenever the office load becomes unbearable... and my mind start to wonder out of the building and into the jungle.
