I'm sure the majority of male members here don't sew. Just seems that way cause the addicts like myself seem to be doing the most posting.
Get yourself a machine and go to it. It's not hard and you'll be very happy you did.

I always tell people that if I can sew, anyone can sew. Take some scrap fabric and just sew around on it until you get the hang of the foot pedal. After that, read the manual so you can wind the bobbin without asking your wife for help everytime you run out of thread, and you're all set!

Just for the record, we use an old Brother sewing machine, a 1950's Viking Husqvarna for sewing straps, and we also have a 1960's Singer Touch-and-Swear, oops, I mean, Touch-and-Sew.

Or we could have the first annual HF dress making contest. I'm calling dubs on you as my model.

Yes, I always tell people that anyone can sew, but can you keep your cool. Patience is all you need.

That would be great, Amanda is great at making dresses. I don't have to be a model though, I have 2 little girls for that .

By the way, Canibal, would you shave your legs after your hike? For the dress contest that is .

Maybe I can be a headwear model since I'm getting my head shaved Wednesday after work. These people are really not happy about me leaving.
