9 days of hammock camping!

In my quest to escape Master's traffic in Augusta, GA in a couple of weeks, I will be taking vacation like all the other smart folks around here.

My master plan this year is to load the truck with lots of firewood, the mountain bike, and the kayak and head to the lake. Got a few different places scoped out to spend the entire 9 nights outdoors just living the good life.

Pics and hopefully a good story or two will follow!

Oh and congrats to whoever WINS the MASTERS this year, but I won't be watching or cheering you on.

A long time ago, I was stationed at Ft. Gordon. Even though I did not play golf back then, I remember there was no escaping the Masters. Can't say I blame you for wanting to escape the insanity of it all.
