I'm interested as well in lightweight natural colors.

That camo tarp looks good! It's heavier than what I'm willing to carry but it looks good.

It's also HUGE I'm planning a smaller version, working on a new design that hopefully will be around 1# complete...

    Hello Guys,

I also ordered some fabric from this store.

    I purchased 8yd of this :
"Woodland Mrne Camouflage Ripstop Nylon Fabric WP"
"Digital Woodland Marine, Coyote Camouflage 1.9 ripstop Nylon fabric. It is K-Kote Urethane Coated and WATERPROOF!!!"

    http://www.efabricsupplier.com/Produ...ProductCode=45

Seeing the fabric in the OP I was hoping this was somewhere near 2oz finished.

They were kind enough to send me 8.75 yards.

The fabric is not nearly as shiny as I expected after seeing the photo on their site.

The camo pattern is very nice. colors are a bit more mellow than the web photo suggests.

The backing is tan as shown on the site.

All weighed and measured, this stuff is over 3.8 oz/sq yd

Not quite the weight that I was hoping to get, and this will be a bit heavy for a tarp.

    EDIT 4-7-11:

    copied from seattle fabrics site

    "Super K-Kote Ripstop
4 oz. per sq yd. 140 Denier with 1.5 oz coating. This heavy weave of ripstop with an extra heavy urethane coating makes the fabric extremely waterproof and durable.
Uses: Tent floors, rain flies, bivy sack bottoms, tarps, rain pants, kayak cockpit covers and paddling jackets. "

This would have been a red flag if I had researched k-kote further before my purchase.
Anyway, I like everything about this stuff except the weight.
    time to go shopping again

Thanks for that. The urethane coating must add quite a bit of weight.

It looks like her prices on her website or more expensive than the ebay ones. I got some ripstop from her for some hammocks the other day and am happy with the stuff so far.

I love her 72" wide ripstop! It is a little heavy but man
it sure is comfortable. I've made a number of orders
and have been very happy with them.

i am thinking of getting some of the 72"

how much does it weigh? is it 1.1 like the site says, or is it heavier?
