If I had the cash, I would have picked'em up as a backup pair.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

Mule, going no pole or replacing the PP?
There are lighter poles, but when it comes to functional use the few extra grams of the PP are worth the mass. My diy carbon fiber are significantly lighter on the scale & have a very low swing weight. Guess which poles I use? Wish I could find a set of PP grips for them.

As far as poles go, I have had several, even the lightest that they make in alloy, but the way you don't have to even grip these poles is worth the carrying them. If I was going to carry poles again it would be these, but I don't carry any anymore. I thing many things are changing in my hiking style lately.
