What kind of tarp was Krugd using?

That is an 8 by 10 DIY tarp following the instructions in Ed Speer's Hammock Camping book. It's a little small for the spreaders on my bridge hammock, but it was enough to keep me dry in Friday nite's storm.
I have Sil to make a replacement, but this o e has worked well enough that I haven't gotten around to it yet.
It looks really nice Krugd, I've been wanting a 10' x 8' for awhile. Though I know it'll cover the blackbird fine I do worry about about the 10' ridge maybe pushing it and being a bit short. Then again I haven't tried it. I thought about diy too, just assume ill mess up those long seams.
So far I've had no problems with 10 foot length - but you are right about there being little room to spare. If you haven't done much sewing you might want to wait on the tarp - I found the sil really hard to sew.
Finally, here are a few pictures from the hang. I uploaded all to PhotoBucket here. I'll attach a few here with comments.
We encountered these cliffs early in the hike.

Great photos krugd. I forgot about that one you snapped while I was lounging. I guess that is the beauty of gravity filters. Allows you to do other more constructive things while waiting.
Also just wanted to say I really enjoyed the trip. Couldn't have asked for a couple nicer guys to go on my first official hang with. Enjoyed the company & conversation. By the way krugd, I'm still telling people about you hiking in sandals and running the trail later in those things I call, insoles strapped to your feet. Tough man, tough.
Thanks. I enjoyed it too. The insoles are called huaraches, a form of sandals worn by the Tarahumara indians in copper canyon. But my wife agrees with your description. BTW there is a thread on the forums about making your own huaraches.
Not tough. Perhaps a bit touched?
Great pictures Don! I'm lucky to have hung with two guys that have technology handy. I'm also lucky to get back out of my hammock after a day of hiking let alone go for a light run. Yer an inspiration.
