    My hammock/tarp has been hi-jacked!

Went on a little fishing trip this weekend. My wife decided that she wanted to go get away from the crazy city life with me so I packed up for the weekend. I took the Eno and a blue tarp, the tent, and my blackbird and superfly.

I told her I would set up the tent, BB/tarp and the Eno/tarp and she could try to sleep in the BB. If it didn't work out she could get in the tent. Well the result is.......... she said I didn't need to bother packing the tent any longer!

The next morning I pitched the tarp into porch mode - made a pot of coffee - and she further found that hammocks are cool!

Since my BB was hi-jacked I had to set up my gettobackwoods hammock. Worked ok, but man, the Eno compared to the BB is like comparing a wooden pallet to a mattress. The stick is a support for the porch mode on the superfly. It just got in the picture and made it look weird.

We didn't catch any fish but I have permission to get another blackbird and superfly tarp!!!

Yea, the dog just climbs on to my pack/stuff that is under the hammock/tarp and crashes for the night.

Appears that being hi-jacked turned out to be a good thing!

My girlfriend camped at a Wildlife Rehab place last night. Since it looks like a bomb went off in my gear room right now, she called and asked if I'd go home at lunch at get her set-up.

When I got home I asked, "Which set-up do you want to take?".
She answered, "My hammock, the SnugFit, a Mamba, and a SuperFly".
To which I responded, "Which hammock are you calling yours today?"

I gave up on having 'his' and 'her' hammocks a long time ago. Just community property these days. Could be worse. She could be asking me to get tent poles, sleeping bags, and <shudder> sleeping pads together for her. At least she has good taste...except for the choosing of me part.
    Trust nobody!

That first pic says it all. She's comfy and not giving up the hammock.

Now I need to get her a molly mac pack and we will be good to go. By the way, I need to get a photo of that too. The Molly Mac is the bomb!

My wife has been in my GT on the porch before and promptly fell asleep, but has not had a desire to go into the piney woods with it. A boyscout campout will force her in 2 weeks, but she will be in a tent. My prediction is she will be requesting a hammock soon, after she endures the ground for a few nights.
