    C'mon... go big!

Or just stuff a 5-liter mini-keg in your backpack... It could double as a bear canister...

    Beer Keg Gumbo Pot.

Didn't think about the Beer Canister (only a few black beers down in south LA), but I have built a custom Gumbo pot out of one.

Trimmed out the interior of the top and side cut the bottom off of a second mini keg to use as a lid. Even used the spent gas charge cylinder from inside the keg to make a pocket alcy stove. The pot works great with a high output propain or liquid fuel stove for large soups and stews, or hometown Cajun gumbo for those cool nights with a larger group. Would post pics, but it will be a few more weeks before I'm States side and home again.

I guess adding a few latches to it would wrap up a nice beer canister.

    Check the suspension!

He doesn't even have to leaf forward one bit! Better than an Arn pack.
