Take this hammock anywhere. It weighs just 22lbs.

At 22 lbs this is on the cutting edge of SUL gear.

Got an email from Harbor Freight with this sale in it this morning.

Looks complicated but I thought I would share.

    Folding hammock stand with hammock.
    Total Length - 100"
    Weight Limit 225lbs
    $50

The built in pillow and cup holder almost had me pulling the trigger on this!

Actually, doesn't look like a bad item for back yard or car camping. Although 31-3/4" doesn't seem very wide.

I wish they showed someone laying in it, and gave their stats, to help with picturing the size of this thing.

For some backyard relaxation I would think you want more of a mesh, or rope. I know when I get a house that I'll put a hammock up in the back yard, I also know that I like beer, and when you put those two together something is definitely going to spill at some point

Plus those Dead tunes playing in the background... I can almost feel the sun now, pulling me back to some concert.

looks to me like they have a stretcher bar running right under your shoulder/neck area; (and you know those 'backyard' hammocks are not the same as a camping hammock; the bars make them more tippy....)

I actually own this one from Kelsyus that's pretty similar. It's comfortable. My only quibble is that the stand is not quite high enough. I drag against the bottom if I'm sitting. The Harbor Freight one looks higher, which would be good.

@ KerMegan - The spreader bar in my Kelsyus is curved away from the hammock so it spreads the hammock nicely but you don't feel the bar at all. Not sure if this one's the same.

This looks interesting, decent price to try it. Looks like one could use their own suspension for it too, if you want to use the hammock but not the stand.

We have one of those. It's pretty comfortable.
My kids fight over it when it's set up in the yard.
    Bulky and heavy, though.

Sometimes Harbor Freight has them on sale for $29 - that's when we picked ours up.

Sets up in seconds and only 22 lbs! Wow. Someone could take this on the PCT for the desert or above the tree line where it is difficult to hang. Sign me up!
