    I'm officially a WBBB man...

Ordered mine today after much reading. One for my son also. I ordered the one that is internationally made and hope that means the same quality. We are going to the northern tier area this summer and hope to use them there.
Now I just have to wait for the mail!

Internationally made? I thought all WBBBs were made by Brandon in Ft Collins CO?

He had a single batch manufactured in China as an experiment. They were marked on his website with an "(i)". I believe there is only one model type left from that run.

I just recently got to lay hands on one of the imports and can say with no hesitation that the quality is on par with Brandon's own work. Enough so that I think I've been convinced to order one of the import Edge tarps. Brandon won't sell it if it's junk IMO. I figure it might be a collector's item since it doesn't seem that he is going to continue with foreign manufacturing.
    Trust nobody!

You are still supporting an AMERICAN or is that too political? Regardless Warbonnet is the creme of the hammock art.

I just ordered a 1.7 double bottomed WB Blackbird as well at 11 pm tonight. Looking forward to owning a world-class high performance hammock. I hope that the double bottom will keep some bottom insulation inserts stable, and in one place. Looking forward to enjoying the warming weather while hammock camping. :-)

I think it would be more important that if the demand exceeds Brandon's ability to Supply that he has a product produced for him and that they meet his standards. I understand being proud of ones country as I am but I also don't want drive away any potential international sales for the guy by starting a boarder war thread drift anytime his products are brought up.

I've been trying to see where and how much insulation I need to be comfortable. Left the windows open here and turned the fan on them. Only starting getting a cold rump with the temps slipping down into the 60's. Hoping it won't take too much stuffing in the dbl bottom in the late spring to early summer. I have had two nights already that I needed a towel over the head pillow just to cut down on sweat. Any case, one of the big reasons I wanted to go to the hammock was the extra cooling it allows compared to a tent. Man have I passed out in pools sweltering inside a tent. If I can be comfortable at 80 degrees I can really save on cooling bills.
