    Canadian Supplier of Down

Hey not sure if this applies to this section but I am sure the mods will move it if it doesnt . Those of you in Canada looking for Top quality Goose or Duck down and dont want to pay international shipping or duites, there is a Supplier in Toronto Ontario called Feather Industries.

Google it or PM me for a phone number (trying my best not to anger the mod gods)

If you don't work for or represent the company, it's fine to share the info.

To be honest Im not too sure. I never went to their website instead I got their phone number through calling several other local business that recommended them.

What I really liked is they also provide a very high quality Duck Down that is nearly indistinguishable from Goose Down in every way and costs half as much.

Making all my new DIY quilts in Duck now. Heres the number 1-416-766-4142.

This is where I got my down from. Very nice stuff! However, they are more of a wholesale outfit so they have a minimum order of 2lbs, with a 20% surcharge for anything under 20lbs...

What I have right now is 750+ White Duck Down, (91% down, 9% small feather content) as far as its ability to loft its hardly noticeable vs. an 800+ goose down, that said I am sure it would have a hard time competeing with 900+ anything.

But if your budget minded like me, even with a 20% surcharge my Duck Down came to 4.25/oz CAD.

I ordered 750 grey goose down from them a couple years ago. Really good deal compared to other sources. I contacted them a couple weeks ago for my next projects and was told they only import large quanities to the US. Not sure if the rules changed. Planning on having them send it to a friend in Canada and have them mail it to me.
