    Hanging the 3 season incubator

    Hey all,
Maybe it's me, but my incubators shock cording seems to be set up not to allow hanging the quilt to my WBBB after the hammock is already hung.

When I went to fit the quilt to the hammock for the first time, I hung the hammock and then realized I needed to take one end of it loose so I could slide the suspension strap thru the shock cording at each end of the quilt, then reattached the hammock suspension to the tree.

I don't like this at all. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

There should be a NiteIze double-clip S-Biner on each end of the shock cord that you can clip onto the suspension.

Indeed, a select few of our quilts went out a couple of weeks ago escaping their S-Biner friends. Let me know if you are missing them.... I'll be happy to send a pair in the mail. I apologize for the confusion. Thought we caught them all. Hope that's all you need to fix your issue. You are welcome to email or PM me if you have any questions regarding the hanging.

Oh! Ok, that makes sense. I'm pretty sure I received the biners. Just didn't know what to do with them. Thought they were just included because of the quilt being designed to fit many different hammocks and suspension setups.

    Thanks

Does your quilt have two adjustment shock cords on one end and only one on the other? Mine does, and I'm wondering if it makes a difference which end is head or toe? Just wondering...I'm loving my Incubator and it fits my ENO very well!

Fold your incubator in half long ways and compare the length of the short ends of the hammock. The "head" end of the incubator will a bit wider than the foot end. On both of my incubators, the head end has the knot in the suspension.

When hanging on a WBBB, you don't need the S-biners. The suspension will sit nicely on the gathered end "balls" at each end of the hammock. You will probably need to take up some of the suspension line though - it may be a bit too long to keep the quilt tight up against the hammock.
