If anyone has ordered a PapaSmurf BugSock specifically for a Nano 7, I'd really appreciate any feedback on the combination, and any pictures too.
Thanks

Sorry, I can't give you a review, but I can share this information.
The latest one I shipped out this morning was a 95" x 53" version weighing 2.05 oz.
I've made different versions from 92"-96" long and 48"-53" deep. The lightest I've been able to make one was 1.87oz.
I've not taken any photos with the Nano, but they'd be similar to the photos found on this web page http://www.mydiygear.com/pages/proje...on/bugsock.php
Also, Cranky Bear posted some photos this morning here. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...9&postcount=29
Based on the pm I got this morning that was probably mine.
I will be using it with a Nano. I'll see if I can post some quick pictures and some thoughts when it gets here. Maybe do a review after a couple of trips.

Thanks, to both of you. Very cool. I searched the net (ha) high and low for something like this, I figured it just made too much sense to not exist, but no one offered anything like it. Kudos for hopping on it first. PapaSmurf, could you make one smaller/lighter for a Nano 7 if it were for someone 5'9 130 lbs? I don't know if a smaller hammock and smaller person would matter or if you've already taken it to its size limit, but I figured it was worth asking. (Oh, and I wouldn't mind things being a little tight) I'll definitely be ordering one either way.
This design was developed by JustJeff here. http://www.tothewoods.net/HomemadeGearHammockSock.html
And further refined by Sgt Rock here. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=20115
These 2 people with the help of many others here on HF are the true innovators. I just provide a custom DIY service to folks who don't wish to make their own gear.
The BugSock I build is custom sized for your hammock and you have the option of changing it any way you'd like.
See this page for details. http://www.mydiygear.com/pages/proje...on/bugsock.php
But let's not do business directly on HF. It's against the terms of service and detracts from the true spirit of these forums.
