I have looked for some kind of light 3" wide ribbon but I have never found anything yet. Sorry if I am no help, but I will be interested in what others say.
    Peace Dutch

you might get away with using Tulle ..... i never used it so i'm not sure how good it would work

you could use IX as well... again i never used it but i'm sure you could
you can use just about anything out there but No See Um works best for baffles
    and it's cheap
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

I just finished a 36X65 karo underquilt using the same 1.1 RS for the 2" baffles that I used for the body. I did not have any noseeum and using it would have only saved me <0.07 ounce vs the 1.1RS. I am waiting for the down to arrive to stuff it.

I am not sure that tulle is strong enough for baffles.

I used 1.1 oz ripstop for the baffles on my recently completed UQ. It worked out fine.

I wondered at the time what noseeum weighed per yard, but couldn't find it.

I'm using some really fine polyester mesh for the baffles, sold as aircraft fabric. Its 0.8 oz/sqyd and feels as strong as 0.9oz ripstop.
