Apparently this is the week for TN folks to join the forum. I stumbled across the site last weekend and have also been lurking/learning a couple days. Not knowing this community was out there I asked for and got a Hammock Bliss with no see-um netting for Christmas. I picked up some tree straps last fall at Target on clearance. With excellent help from youtube videos by Shug and ProfessorHammock I have figured out my suspension/ridgeline/tarp setup (for now, I think). Will be giving it a try overnight for the first time in about 3 weeks over at Village Creek SP in Arkansas. This first outing is car camping so I will be using a heavy poly tarp. I also need to figure out my insulation/pad situation. Once the bugs are worked out, and I get/make a lighter tarp, I will be hitting the trail with it.
