    When I did mine, I just put the rope on at the hammock end, put the cover back on with a new zip tie, and made my adjustable loop with the rope still attached to the hammock. That way there was zero chance of the adjustable loop bury being closer to the hammock then I wanted it.

    I'll probably give it try at some point. Thanks for the confidence! I actually don't mind the factory set up but always looking to tweak my gear. I think I spend more time tweaking than I do hanging. I'm sick and obsessed I guess.

    Only thing I did was add para-cord long enough to go from one end of the hammock to the other. Then I tied both ends to the zippers. Now I can pull the far end zipper closed no problem.
