I ordered a slice of pizza from my wife, and got it air shipped (thrown) at me in .2 seconds. Now that's fast delivery!!!
I feel you guys. I've had my share of wait time too and it's enough to drive a person to drinking.
Since the tarp I wanted was "in stock", I pretty much knew I'd have it in a few days; basically the next time he went to the PO. But I never expected to get it the next morning. That was just cool and a rare event indeed. Based on my historical averages (of a whole "2"), the next next-day delivery without paying extra should be sometime in 2015. Talk about a long wait.
Trust nobody!
I thought I need to chime in here as well, and then go back to lurking!
This Winter I ordered a whole bunch of stuff, including the doors which were on backorder. That was fine, I didn't have time or felt like testing the hammock in the Winter.
Then I was sent to the US for work and it occurred to me that maybe I could get the parts that were on stock sent to my hotel? After all, transatlantic mailing can take weeks. The only problem was that there was only one week left.
I wrote an email to Brandon, he said he would send it so it would arrive in time, and a few days later I picked up a Blackbird and a tarp with some other small parts at the reception!
If I don't contribute anything else, a public thank-you and some advertisement for Warbonnet is in place at least! Superior customer service matches a superior product.
