While laying down, put right foot down to the ground, then the left foot on the left side, grab the sides, pull and sit up..
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..

When I was bigger I would swing my legs down so I was in a sitting position with my feet on the ground. Then I would walk my feet backwards while pushing my self up with my hands either on the near edge or the far edge of the hammock.
You could also sit up, put both legs on the ground stradling the hammock, lean forward and pull yourself up towards the suspension by grabbing the hammock or push yourself up with your hands.
Lastly you could do what I did and lose 60 lbs.
